A outer sheath
The outer sheath is also called the protective sheath, is the outermost layer of the power cord sheath, the outer sheath plays the role of protecting the power cord, the outer sheath has strong characteristics, such as high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, natural light interference, winding performance is good, long service life, material environmental protection and other characteristics.
B in the sheath
The inner sheath, also known as the insulation sheath, is a layer of material that wraps the cable between the shielding layer and the wire core, generally polyvinyl chloride plastic or polyethylene plastic. It is an indispensable part of the middle structure of the power line. The main use of the insulation sheath is insulation, as the name implies, to ensure the safety of the power line, so that there will be no leakage phenomenon between the copper wire and the air, and the material of the insulation sheath should be soft, to ensure that it can be set in the middle layer.
Common transmission conductors are copper, aluminum wire and so on. The conductor of our power cord is usually copper wire. Copper wire is mainly the carrier of current and voltage, the density of copper wire directly affects the quality of the power line. The material of the power cord is also an important factor in quality control, as is the quantity and flexibility of the copper wire.
